Closette sat down with Claire to get her make up tips on looking good throughout Summer…….
Q: When the Summer heat hits, what is the best way to look polished without looking like we have too much make up on, which can result in looking sweaty and greasy?
A: Focus on oil-free formulas that give you an effortless, “I just walked straight off the beach” look. Less is more in Summer. Think chocolate eyeliner instead of black, ditch mascara altogether and get your lashes tinted instead. Invest in a gel cream cheek tint instead of powder.
Q: What are the essential products we should have in our make up bag to take us from day to night this Summer?
A: South Beach by NARS- Multiple stick- its a creamy bronzer, eyeshadow, highlighter, blush…all in the one product. I also can’t live without my MAC Power Point eyeliner pencil in Bountiful Brown- its waterproof, long wear and super soft & smudgy for a sexy smokey eye in seconds.
Q: Foundation or tinted moisturiser? Which way should we go when the temperature rises?
I thought I’d share with you these two new skin serums I have just discovered – they are divine! The brand is called Jyunka they are from France. The first one is to be used after cleansing. It gives your skin a boost of Vitamin C. The second one to be used under your moisturiser contains boto caviar, collagen and sodium hyaluronate. They both absorb easily into the skin and give you that moisture rich glow. A little goes along way.
