Floral Jeans

January 22, 2012 | Shopping tips

I’m loving the new floral printed jeans – a great way to add a pop of colour and they will see you through to Autumn. Just add a short boot, a shirt or thin knit.   Check out Citizens of Humanity, Tory Burch and Current/Elliot for some inspiration.

PJ Style

I spoke about this look last year…but I’m still loving it.  Inspired by Louis Vuitton’s leopard print number, PJ dressing is till going strong.  Check out www.shopbop.com for some chic, comfy looks or try www.loveandlustre.com.au for PJ pants you can wear out.  Even if you don’t go all the way with this look, pick a plain top and just add jeans.

2012 Update…

January 22, 2012 | Uncategorized

A new year a new you!  Time for a “Spring” clean of your wardrobe? Here are some of my tips to update your wardrobe for 2012:

*start by cleaning out your wardrobe and getting rid of unflattering clothes, styles that are past their used by date or anything you haven’t worn (and are unlikely to) in the past year.  Put on some good music while doing it – makes it more fun.  I’m listening to Astrud Gilberto, Jazz Masters 9.

* Add some stripes – they never date (a la Brigitte Bardot) and work all year round; with shorts, pants, skirts and jeans.  Heel or flats.

*Add a funky necklace to update a classic white shirt.

*Clean out your make-up bag getting rid of old eyeliner and mascara.  Check used by dates on all creams, concealers, lotions etc…

*Store clothes with dried lavender.  Keeps them smelling nice and acts as a natural insect repellant.
